Guardian Oil & Gas Inc. is a privately held non-operating oil and gas exploration and development company located in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area. First established in 1996 as Mullins & White Energy Inc., they generate their own prospects and actively seek non-operated industry prospects primarily in the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast region. Guardian prefers to venture with operating companies with broad engineering and operating experience and a proven track record of success.

Guardian Oil & Gas boasts skillful, in-house geosciences and land management departments. Their geologists analyze well logs, historical data, subsurface formations and production trends for producing wells. Guardian’s land department acquires leases and permits economically and quickly. This expertise allows Guardian to move with or ahead of new production trends.

Guardian partners with the most experience industry professionals on all drilling projects. Risk is minimized by partnering with a variety of quality operators. In addition, they explore and develop assets with diverse geological characteristics.

With over 12 years in the industry, Guardian’s business model has remained the same amid both high and low oil prices. A prospect’s potential is judged based upon historical, current, and expected commodity prices relative to the prices to acquire the acreage drill and complete the well, and market the production. Only prospects that are projected to be profitable at lower commodity prices are pursued.
